Our Businesses
The Group operates six divisions and holds interests in twelve other undertakings. The Group employs 23 persons directly; its consolidated undertakings employ a further 140, and the divisions engage contractors as described below.
The ETERNITY channel has transmitted a single continuous programme via the Astra satellite system since 14 March 1996. The service is transmitted without a published schedule and carries no advertising. It is received in hotels, healthcare facilities and transport terminals in eleven countries. Programme information is not published.
EverCast is the Group's digital set-top receiver, developed in partnership with a contract manufacturer in Kaohsiung. The unit has no power switch and is designed for continuous operation. EverCast has been in consumer beta since 1998; general availability has been deferred at each annual review of the programme. Units are not presently available for sale.
The division administers a catalogue of 1,214 original compositions by Anselm Brückner, licensed for continuous use. The catalogue has been complete since 2012. Principal customers are the ETERNITY channel, telephone hold systems and retail environments. Licences are granted by hour of use rather than by work.
The Forever Edition range of continuous-loop VHS cassettes, which do not require rewinding. Available in PAL and NTSC. A DVD range has been under consideration since 1999.
A destination resort on 340 hectares in the province of Almería, Spain. Ground was broken on 11 October 1993 and construction is ongoing under a workforce of 211, engaged through contractors. An opening date has not been set.
The Group's customer loyalty programme. Points accrue on all Group products and services and have no expiry date. Points have no cash value and are not exchangeable. Membership is not transferable. Interests in Other Undertakings In addition to its six divisions the Group holds interests in twelve undertakings, acquired between 1994 and 2022, with one interest increased in 2026: Téléattente SRL (Brussels), Nachtprogramm Ges.m.b.H. (Vienna), Human Nature AG (Zug), Reality Corporation (Wilmington), Life Systems AG (Basel), Hyperium S.A. (Luxembourg), Unreal Estate, Inc. (Wilmington), Dream Machine Ltd (London), Machine Heaven GmbH (Berlin), Halcyon Bio AG (Basel), Excreta Automata B.V. (Eindhoven) and Zero Reality K.K. (Tokyo). Acquired undertakings retain their names and are not integrated into the Group. A list with the Group's percentage interest is maintained under Investor Relations. |
